Paper Organizers

I just read this article about keeping to-do lists on paper instead of
in an electronic organizer and, as a Palm (and Newton and WinCE) to-do
list struggler for years now, I have to admit that the argument for
paper is a strong one.

I try to use (Palm) Agendus's nestable to-do list to do crude project
management. The theory is that I can take a gargantuan task (build
website) into large tasks (install CMS) and the large tasks into
manageable tasks (read reviews of CMSes). It's a great theory, but it's

43 Folders

Is everyone familiar with 43 Folders? http://www.43folders.com/

I love this blog and the accompanying podcast (which sadly hasn't had
anything new for me to listen to lately). While he (Merlin Mann)
leans heavily towards the GTD system, his suggestions, rants, and
explorations stay on the generally pragmatic level, illustrating for
example a principle of self-management along with an example in the
GTD methodology.

I am a little curious about GTD, although also generally suspicious
of things that look like a lot of work that promise that I'll get

Anyone out there understand DNS?

...specifically does anyone know DNS well enough to fix what has been
broken by a team of experts plus a boss who likes to tinker with what
the team of experts did until its unrecognizable?

Client has a mailserver that has to be seen by two subnets. Solution
was to install two NICs. At some point, routing to the outside world
started going through the newer interface, which broke attempts other
mailservers made to verify the identity of the mailserver via reverse
lookup, as mail was going out from a totally new IP address on

JP,

These resources are fantastic (and I'm encouraged by the quote at
Ilise's site: "At this very moment, your prospects are waiting for
you.") - thanks again for all your help!

Thanks so much for your insights. The situation I'm in exactly reflects
what you recommended in terms of starting with who you know and working
out from there.

Tom,
There is nothing here about what the customer gets out of all this. =20
It's all about you and what you do. We all do this, so don't worry. =20
Just try thinking of what the value of you what you are providing is. =20=

Why should someone should purchase your guides.

Try a different tactic.
